My daughter (3 years old) got this for Christmas and loves it. Her cousin loved it, too, but there is no powder option for darker skin tones, which is slightly disappointing. Though it is pretend make-up, I think it would be nice for my niece to see pretend powder that is closer to her skin tone. If there were, I would totally buy her a set as well, because it is a really nice, high-quality product that has been played with frequently in our house!

These toys are more well-made and realistic than others. Brushes, foam and plastic all top quality. Hours of play from these in our home.

I got this for my toddler who loves watching me do my make up for work and wants to copy/help. I absolutely love that it isn't REAL make up but foam in the compacts. The brushes are so silky and soft I'm not worried about her scratching up her sensitive skin. The lipstick even turns like real make up, but is only plastic. It's perfect! She does her own make up while I do mine, or will give me or her daddy a make over. The fake mascara is kinnndaa worrisome, but not really. She hasn't grasped she's supposed to do it sideways and instead attempts to stab her own eye, but she just turned 2 so it's a learning curve. It has a soft spongey on the part that would apply the mascara on real mascara wands so it isn't sharp or anything. So I really am not horribly worried. It's seriously perfect for toddlers mimicking!

Wow! I have to admit I was blown away by this little gem. I ordered this back in November 2016 as part of our daughters Santa gifts. It arrived all tucked in its pretty little cloth/zippered pouch. I took everything out to inspect and was just amazed with the great quality + added detail. The blush, pressed powder, and eye shadows are a foam like material, NOT plastic which makes them way more realistic. There's also a small pink "glitter" eyeshadow that's just adorable and it too is made from the foam. The glitter does NOT flake off or fall out which is everything to me. The brushes are super nice and in all honesty could be used by an adult.. well that maybe a slight overstatement but they're very nice;) Overall this set is wonderful and our 4 (almost 5) year old plays with it everyday. The one thing I feel like should be mentioned is the pressed powered compact has a mirror inside.. it's a real mirror. I do think that could pose a danger to smaller kids who may not be as easy on this kit. However, we accidently dropped it and it didn't break so it may be made of a polycarbonate type material? Anyways, I would for sure buy this set again for a gift or recommend it for other parents who are curious!

This is the cutest and most realistic pretend makeup kit I have ever seen. The colored and glittered foam in the palettes is beautiful and put together very securely. There is no powder, liquid or other than can transfer to clothes or skin. My 4 year old little girl loves to play with this and 'get decorated'. A definite must for the little girl who likes to play dress up.

This Glamour Girl Pretend Play Makeup Kit is so cute! I got it for my 2 year old daughter. She watches me put on my makeup and always wants me to do hers too. I thought it would be a good idea to get her her own non toxic play makeup to play with. She absolutely loves it! She sits on the floor in front of the mirror with her little makeup pouch, opens it up and starts putting on her makeup. The makeup kit is very well made. It looks and feels like the real stuff, but of course is not. Nothing comes off on the brushes so I don't have to worry about anything actually getting on her skin. She's not able to open the little containers on her own yet, but it's okay she still has a lot of fun doing everyone's makeup! Now whenever mommy does my makeup she does hers too. I love it!

We have been looking for pretend makeup for awhile now for our 2 yr old daughter. We saw this product and I was impressed by all the pictures we saw and figure we would give it a try. When the product came in I opened it up because like others I was interested to see the product and look it over to make sure I wouldn't be finding pieces all over the place. First thing I notice right away is how real this set looks.......I had to double check and make sure it was fake. LOL I also noticed how soft the brushes were, I was very surprised by that because it's hard to find nice soft brushes for my use.... But this is great for any little girl wanting some makeup. My daughter loves the kit and carries it around with her everywhere!!!

For the price, I was expecting this make up to actually feel real. The make up feels like foam. And the fake glitter eye shadow is rough and nothing what i expected for an 8 year old girl. The lip stick is color is just plastic does not "feel real". Was not impressed. This make up is for maybe younger children. I was looking for something to keep her entertained with a "real feel" . And possibly keep her from actually putting on make up. The brushes are nice...super soft. I actually would ve given this a 2 star. But seeing that shes playing with it and feel asleep with it in her hands. Well. Thats what all of us here want to know right? She loves it. (But i know there is way better quality fake make up out there. So whatever. Zaara gave this a 5 star.

At this point, I can say I am so satisfied with the quality and realistic appearance of this pretend make up set that I have bought several of this exact one for my daughter who is obsessed with make up ..since she watches her mommy apply hers every day. She absolutely loves it and being that she's 2 years old and the little wristlet filled with make up comes everywhere with us .. I needed to reorder a couple of times because some pieces went missing. Having seen a bunch of pretend make up sets, Glamour Girl by far surpasses all others in quality and appearance. I also ordered a few for Chrismas gifts for the other little girls in my family. They loved it just as much.

The product came as described. I had one issue with the lipstick not working correctly. However, I contacted the seller and the seller fixed the situation promptly. The seller was very courteous about it and fixed the problem with no questions asked. It was a very pleasant experience. The make up seems real. Many people think it is and dont believe me when I say it isnt real. All in all, I am pleased with the product. It is as described and the pictures are accurate. I would buy this product again if I needed to buy one, and I would definitely do business with the seller again.

I bought 2 of these, one for each of my 4 year old twin granddaughters. I was a little concerned that they wouldn't like the fact that these are pretend and no colors actually are applied, however the girls have vivid imaginations so I decided to take a chance. Much to my delight, since they received them, the girls have been playing with their make up kits non stop! This toy is very realistic and great quality. There are several little compacts and brushes as well as lipstick, lip gloss and nail polish. The only downside is that one of the zippers on the makeup cases broke after a few minutes. All in all, not a huge deal, though, considering how much my granddaughters love this toy! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has a little girl who enjoys playing dress up.

I wish they had this when I was a little girl. My 5 year old already loves makeup, and obviously that is too young. I have bought her random makeup brushes here and there to pair with empty make up containers, but this kit takes the cake! It really does look like make up, and I had to touch it to know it wasn't real because it looks that good. This is a Christmas gift so it hasn't been "played" with yet, but I know she is going to love it and I cannot wait to give it to her!

I was excited to get this for my toddler that I'm always pulling away from my makeup drawer. The reviews are great so I figured it would be nice but it surpassed my expectations! The makeup looks so REAL and the quality is great! This particular play makeup set was more expensive than others on this site and I debated getting it for that reason, but in the end I chose it because I loved the pink brushes and cases and pretty bag it came in. Plus it had everything - powder, lipstick and gloss, polish, ... I'm glad I picked this one because it's precious. I know my little girl will love it. Not sure I'll be able to hold out until Christmas to give it though!! Edited to add - My girls LOVED it for Christmas! The almost two year old I bought it for AND her four year old big sister. It was one of the biggest hits of Christmas and almost two weeks later I've seen it played with every single day. Holding up perfectly.

Such an up grade since I was a child. I am so excited. My daughter has been asking for a beauty kit for Christmas ever since we read "Morris' Disappearing Bag." She has been sneaking into my bathroom and putting on makeup whenever I am occupied with her little brother. On the positive I have many unibrow photos to tease her with as a teen but I am tired of having to scrub her face clean of waterproof makeup. This set is great and the photos really speak for themselves. I was expecting the cases to be a little heavier/ better quality. The blush, eye shadows and powder are really light weight and a little difficult to open. However, the brushes are amazingly soft and feel very high end. The nail polish jars are totally empty (which we expected) but we will probably try and weight them down so they will actually stand up for play time. I wish they were made from a heavier pals tic or filled with resin. My favorite is probably the lipstick, it looks totally real.

I bought this makeup set for my niece for christmas, but when it arrived I couldn't help,but look at it, and I know she is going to love it. I am so surprised at the detail in this set. Very realistic. I can't wait to see my niece play with it!

So cute and very high quality. My daughter, who is 3, desperately wants to use my make-up. I think she will be thrilled to have this kit. I chose this one over some of the other options out there mostly because I liked the white brushes with the pink tips on the end of the bristles. I think it makes it look like there's actually make up on the brushes. I bought a bottle of pretend nail polish and a pretend lipstick on another website to supplement the items because those are some of her favorites but were not included in this set.

My daughter is 18 months and loves watching me put on make up (despite the fact that it is rare, haha!) She always wants to play with the cases and brushes, so I went on a search for her own (fake, no mess) set. Since it came in the mail yesterday she has been non stop playing with every brush and compact. Every piece is made really well and looks and feels real and it comes in a really nice, adorable makeup bag! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fake makeup set with no mess! Can't find anything like this in a store. Worth the money!

Ok if your debating between this and any other pretend makeup look NO FURTHER!! This is the set you WANT to get i PROMISE!! Its Such high quality that if they raised the price on it $10 i would still purchase it!! The brushes you receive are real make up brushes!! the make up in the cases look so realistic because they are textured. the lip gloss feels like there is something going on to your lips! and IM IN LOVE WITH THE COLOR!! Every other Pretend Makeup company does the Same Black casing and its in my opinion UGLY! This pink set is so Girly and fun its perfect for any newbie babie all the way up to at least 14. My daughter is 1 1/2 and loves it and my neices are 10 and 14. They love it. IF this company comes out with more colors in there pallets set i will purchase to add on to my daughters collection. VERY HAPPY!!!!!!!

I got this for my 2 year old for Valentines Day and she was REALLY excited. She is now able to "put make up on" like mommy. It is just like another set I got for my older daughter a few years ago - it looks real and it looks luxurious. I like this bag better then the other set - very cute, girly and durable. The actual "make up" is soft and when breaks can be put back together easily - it has happened once where my youngest was trying to open one of the pieces and my 5yo was able to put it back together for her. This set came with brushes and they are very soft. tops are made of wood and apparently are jsut hot glued in - My 2 year old had it for about 2 weeks and the blush brush (bigger brush) is now in 2 pieces. She was very distraught but was still using the brush part with metal - SO it has been confiscated as of now - I haven't been able to find top part. over all - yes good product and cute - i wished some of the pieces were a little more durable

Amazing! I am so impressed with the quality of this product! It looks very real and the glitter of the lip gloss is so pretty. They brushes are like real adult makeup brushes. The bag is adorable and not cheap plastic. The eyeshadow, blush and foundation are made of a soft textured foam. I had to touch it cause it looks that real. Great price great product

This was a huge hit!!! I highly recommend this item! My daughters are 3 and 5 and both just loved it...it really does look real! And the makeup brushes are very nice and soft....it is NOT a cheap plastic set. They sat for and hour and did each other's make up, if I can buy a toy that is not crap that they play with for longer then a hour it is worth its weight in gold.....very happy with this purchase!

I bought this for my cousin's 3-year-old daughter. When it arrived (in just one day!) I wanted to open it first to check it out. I was surprised by the high quality and attention to detail. My two daughters (ages 8 and 12) started playing with the set and loved it. Now I have to buy two more because each of my daughters want their own set and I need one to give to my cousin's daughter. The brushes it comes with are NOT cheap quality like other similar products. These are REAL high quality brushes; they are very solid and the brushes are VERY soft. You couldn't break them if you tried. The "makeup" is a textured foam that looks real. It is glued in very well so you don't need to worry about the small pieces of foam falling out. This product uses real makeup cases, real brushes, and a nice zippered bag to keep everything in. I can't believe my girls who are 8 and 12 are actually enjoying playing with a fake makeup kit, but they love it. I am so glad that I decided to buy this brand. It makes a great gift for young (and not so young) girls.
